Vauxhall now means two things. The riverside towers running west towards Nine Elms and Battersea are new, tall, and built with moving in mind, with underground loading bays and dedicated goods lifts. The older Vauxhall behind them is estate blocks and Victorian terraces with ordinary access.
The gyratory sits between the two and shapes every route in and out. Traffic around it is heavy and the approaches matter, so we plan the direction of arrival rather than leaving it to chance.

Parking, loading and access in Vauxhall
Vauxhall sits just outside the Congestion Charge zone, with the boundary running to the north across the river, so most addresses here are outside it. The Vauxhall gyratory, Albert Embankment and Wandsworth Road are heavily trafficked and restricted. Lambeth controls the parking. Tower loading bays are booked through the building and have height limits, usually around two metres. Estate roads allow loading but enforce against standing.

My tower has an underground loading bay. What do you need to know?
The height limit and the slot length. Most Nine Elms bays are around two metres, which rules out a Luton, and slots are typically an hour or two. Tell us the building and we will book it and bring a vehicle that clears the ramp.
Is Vauxhall in the Congestion Charge zone?
Mostly no. The zone boundary runs north of the river here, so SW8 and most SE11 addresses sit outside it. A move that crosses into the zone picks up the charge on that leg, included in the price.
Can you move me further south?
Yes. Vauxhall out to Clapham, Battersea, Stockwell and Brixton is a very common route for us, and longer moves out of London are priced the same way: one figure agreed before we start.
