About us: a man and van built for the centre, not the whole country
We work inside Central London and we know what that involves, which is mostly parking, lifts, porters and access windows rather than distance.
Most removals firms cover everywhere and are therefore expert in nowhere. A crew used to suburban semis with a driveway will lose an afternoon to a Barbican podium walkway or a Belgravia mews they cannot get down. We only work the centre, so those are ordinary Tuesdays rather than surprises.
What that means in practice is that the planning happens before the day. Which borough controls each street, whether a bay suspension is worth its cost, whether the block wants the goods lift booked and the lobby floor covered, whether a Luton will physically fit down the street or whether we should bring a transit and do two runs. All settled in advance.
The pricing follows from that. Because we have checked the access, we can quote a fixed figure and stand behind it. An hourly rate would let us skip the checking and charge you for the consequences, and a great many firms in London do exactly that.
How we work
- Fixed prices, alwaysOne figure agreed before we start. It covers the crew, the van, the wrapping, the fuel and the congestion charge. It does not move because the lift was slow.
- The access gets checked firstBefore we quote, not after we arrive. That is the difference between a move that finishes by mid-afternoon and one that finishes in the dark.
- Wrapping happens in the roomSofas and mattresses go into covers before they leave the flat, not once they reach the van. Wooden pieces get corner protection and glass travels flat.
- We deal with your buildingConcierge, porter, estate office or building security. Give us the contact and we file whatever they want on record so nothing stalls in the lobby.
- We say no when the answer is noIf a sofa will not go up your staircase we would rather tell you before you book than damage your wall proving it on the day.
Where we work
All 37 Central London areas, from Marylebone and Mayfair in the west to Whitechapel and Bermondsey in the east, and everything between Euston Road and the river. We also do longer moves out of the centre and out of London entirely, priced the same way.

We hold goods in transit and public liability insurance, and we are a registered waste carrier for the clearance work. Certificates are available on request, and we will file them directly with your building management where they ask for them. If you are moving something of unusual value, tell us when you book so we can confirm the cover in writing beforehand rather than afterwards.
