Who we are

Man and Van Central London provides man and van and removals services across Central London. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at quotes@manandvancentrallondon.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send a quote request we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• The addresses you are moving from and to, and the access details you give us
• Your preferred date and a description of the job
• The page you submitted the form on, the page you first landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed
• A Google Analytics client identifier, which lets us connect an enquiry back to the visit that produced it

We do not ask for payment card details through this website and you should never send them to us by email.

Why we collect it

To quote for and carry out your move, which is the performance of a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering into one. We also use the page and referral information to understand which parts of the site produce enquiries, which is our legitimate interest in running the business. You can object to that use at any time.

Who we share it with

Quote requests are stored in Google Sheets, which means Google processes the data on our behalf. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics. Where a job requires it we may share your address and access details with a building management company or a local authority parking department, for example when applying for a bay suspension. We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to marketing companies.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for twelve months. Records of completed jobs are kept for six years, which is the period we may need them for insurance, tax and legal purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email quotes@manandvancentrallondon.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
